WhatsApp chatbot for hardware and spare parts shops

“Ada stok tak?” with a part number and no context, twenty times before lunch. Jawabkan answers price, brands and delivery from your own list — and never guesses whether a part will fit, because that is the answer that costs money.

Part numbers, no context, all day

Your customers know what they need and almost never say it in full. The messages look like this:

  • “Got stock?” — a part number, a size or a brand, with nothing around it
  • “How much?” — often for something they can only half describe
  • “Can send to Ipoh?” — delivery rate, order cut-off, and when it arrives
  • “You carry Makita?” — which decides whether they come to you or drive elsewhere

Every one of those is answerable from your own price list, and every one of them currently interrupts somebody serving a customer at the counter.

⚠️ What it will not do

It will not tell anyone whether a part fits. “Will this fit my Myvi?”, “is this the right one for my pump?”, “same as the old one?” — all handed to you, every time. Fitment depends on the year, the variant, what a previous mechanic already changed, and often on seeing the old part. A confident wrong answer means a returned part, a wasted trip and a customer who does not come back, and it is the single most expensive mistake an assistant could make in your trade.

It does not identify parts from photos. A picture of a broken fitting with “what is this?” underneath goes to a person. Recognising a worn component is exactly the expertise your counter staff have and software does not.

It does not quote contractor or bulk pricing. Trade rates are a relationship and a volume decision. It states your retail price and hands the rest to you.

Warranty claims, returns and complaints go to you as well.

Refusing to guess fitment is a feature, not a gap

Any assistant can be made to answer “will it fit”. Very few should. The cost of a wrong fitment answer lands on you — the return, the restocking, the customer who tells the workshop next door. Handing that question to a person who can ask which year and which variant is not the assistant failing; it is the assistant knowing where its knowledge ends.

It runs on your existing number

The number on your shopfront and on every invoice you have issued. Jawabkan runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform — not a QR-scanning app, which is the usual reason business numbers get banned. Background: why cheap auto-reply apps get WhatsApp numbers banned.

Setup is done with you

Send us your price list, the brands you carry, your delivery rates and your hours. A spreadsheet or a photo of the printed list is fine. We load it and show you the assistant answering before you commit.

Frequently asked

Will it tell customers whether a part fits?

No, and that is deliberate. Fitment depends on year, variant and often on seeing the old part. Every one of those questions is handed to you rather than guessed at.

Can it identify a part from a photo?

No. It does not interpret images. A photo of a broken component goes straight to a person who can actually recognise it.

Does it know what is in stock?

It answers from the list you give us. Keep that list current with us and the answers stay current; it is not connected to a live inventory system.

Will it quote contractor or bulk prices?

No. It states your retail price and hands trade pricing to you, because volume rates are a relationship rather than a lookup.

What does it cost?

RM199 a month including 1,000 conversations, or RM399 for 2,500. No setup fee, no lock-in and no SST — see pricing.
