You cannot answer with your hands full
The job you are on is the reason you miss the next one. The qualifying questions are always the same four:
- “You cover Ampang?” — whether you serve the area at all
- “How much to come and check?” — the call-out or inspection charge
- “Can you come today?” — availability, and how soon
- “How much for aircon service?” — your standard rate for a standard job
Answer those four in the first minute and you are on the shortlist. Answer them at 7pm when you finish, and the customer has already booked whoever replied first.
⚠️ What it will not do
It does not quote work it has not seen. A leak might be a washer or a re-pipe. A crack might be cosmetic or structural. Any job that needs eyes on it is captured — area, description, photos, contact details — and handed to you to price. A number given blind is either a job you lose money on or a customer who feels misled when the real figure arrives.
It does not diagnose from photos. A picture of a damp patch goes to you. Deciding what caused it is your trade, and guessing at it in writing creates an expectation you then have to argue with.
It does not commit you to a time. It tells a customer your working hours and whether you take weekend work; it does not promise an arrival slot, because only you know what today's job will actually turn into.
Emergencies are flagged to you immediately rather than answered, and anything about a job already in progress — or a warranty callback — goes straight to you.
What it handles, and what it hands to you
| Answered automatically | Handed straight to you |
|---|---|
| Areas you cover | Any quote that needs seeing the work first |
| Call-out or inspection charge | Photos of damage or defects |
| Standard service rates you have set | Emergencies and urgent call-outs |
| Working hours and whether you do weekends | Warranty claims and rework |
| Types of work you take and do not take | Anything about a job already in progress |
Being first to reply is most of the job
Home-service customers message three or four contractors at once and go with whoever answers first with a sensible number. That is not a reflection on your work — it is simply how the shortlist forms. Answering the four qualifying questions within a minute puts you on it, whether or not you were free to look at the phone.
It runs on your existing number
The number on your van, your business cards and every quotation you have sent. Jawabkan runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform — not a QR-scanning app, which is the usual reason business numbers get banned. Background: why cheap auto-reply apps get WhatsApp numbers banned.
Setup is done with you
Send us the areas you cover, your call-out charge, your standard rates and the jobs you do not take. We load them and show you the assistant answering before you commit to anything.
Frequently asked
Will it quote a job for me?
Only for standard work at rates you have already set. Anything that needs seeing first is captured with the area, description and contact details, and handed to you to price.
Can it book an appointment slot?
It tells customers your working hours and captures the request, then passes it to you. It does not promise an arrival time, because only you know what today's job will turn into.
What happens with an emergency?
It is flagged to you immediately rather than answered. A burst pipe at midnight needs a person, and the assistant is built to get out of the way.
Can it look at a photo of the damage?
No. It does not interpret images. Photos go to you, because deciding what caused a problem is your trade rather than a lookup.
What does it cost?
RM199 a month including 1,000 conversations, or RM399 for 2,500. No setup fee, no lock-in and no SST — see pricing.
