Parents ask at 10pm, and enrolment is a race
Your enquiries cluster in the fortnight before a term starts, and they arrive late at night because that is when a working parent is finally free. The questions are consistent:
- “Got Form 4 Add Maths?” — subject, level, and whether the class exists at all
- “How much per month?” — monthly fee, sometimes the registration fee too
- “What days and what time?” — the timetable
- “Still got place?” — remaining places, which decides whether they act tonight or forget by Friday
Enrolment is a race against the centre down the road. A parent who gets an answer at 10:05pm registers; one who waits until 9am has usually messaged two other centres by then.
⚠️ What it will not do
It will not tell a parent whether the class suits their child. “Is my son ready for this level?” is a teaching judgement about one child, and it needs a teacher who can ask about results, confidence and what went wrong last term. The assistant stops and passes it to you with the conversation attached.
It does not negotiate fees. Sibling rates, discounts and instalment requests all go to you. It states your published fee and nothing else — which also means no parent is ever quoted a figure you did not set.
It says nothing about any individual student. Not attendance, not marks, not progress, not behaviour, and not whether a child turned up. Those conversations belong to a teacher, and a parent asking about their child deserves a person.
Complaints and refund requests go straight to you as well.
What it handles, and what it hands to you
| Answered automatically | Handed straight to you |
|---|---|
| Subjects and levels you teach | “Is my child suitable for this class?” |
| Timetable — days and times | Discount or sibling-rate requests |
| Monthly fees and registration fees | Concerns about a child's progress |
| Places remaining in a class | Complaints and refund requests |
| Location, trial-class policy, term dates | Anything about a specific teacher |
Answering at 10pm is the entire point
Every centre publishes the same subjects at roughly the same fees. What separates you at enrolment time is whether a parent gets an answer while they still have their phone in their hand. That is a scheduling problem rather than a marketing one, and it is the one this solves.
It runs on your existing number
The number already on your banner, your flyers and your parents' phones. Jawabkan runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform — not a QR-scanning app, which is the usual reason numbers get banned. Background: why cheap auto-reply apps get WhatsApp numbers banned.
Setup is done with you
Send us your subject list, timetable, fees and term dates. We load them and show you the assistant answering before you commit. When the timetable changes you send the new one and we update it — that is part of the subscription.
Frequently asked
Can it enrol a student?
It tells parents which classes have places and captures the enquiry with the child's level and the parent's contact details, then hands it to you to confirm. It does not register a student by itself.
Will it discuss my child's progress?
No. It says nothing about any individual student — not attendance, marks, progress or behaviour. Those questions go to a teacher, with the conversation attached.
Can it give a discount or a sibling rate?
No. It states your published fees only. Any request for a discount, sibling rate or instalment plan is handed to you, so no parent is ever quoted a figure you did not set.
Does it work late at night?
It answers 24 hours, which for a tuition centre is the whole point — most enrolment enquiries arrive after 9pm, when parents are finally free.
What does it cost?
RM199 a month including 1,000 conversations, or RM399 for 2,500. No setup fee, no lock-in and no SST — see pricing.
